Mosi Tatupu, father of Seahawks linebacker Lofa, dies

Mosi Tatupu, long-time NFL player and father of Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu, died Tuesday. Tatupu passed away after being taken to a Massachusetts hospital. He was 54. A cause of death was not disclosed.

Mosi coached his son, Lofa, in high school in Massachusetts, and it was his status as a former USC player that served as a bridge that resulted in Lofa becoming a Trojan after transferring from Maine.
