Postgame notes

CB Cord Parks suffered a shoulder injury ... QB Charlie Whitehurst has great touch on the deep ball ... WR Deon Butler caught seven passes for 103 yards. "Butler is by far the most improved player on the offense since we've come here," coach Pete Carroll said after the game. "He really is a factor and I'm really excited for how it's all going to pan out." ... As for the play on the field? "This was a typical fourth (pre)season game with all of the ragged play for sure." ... Starting fullback? Quinton Ganther ahead of Owen Schmitt, which might be very telling at this point ... Also, Tyler Polumbus played right tackle, not left, which bodes well for Mansfield Wrotto's chances at making the team.
