Rams' Steven Jackson is going to be a question mark

Posted by Danny O'Neil

Rams running back Steven Jackson will not practice Wednesday, and his status is a question mark heading toward Sunday's game after he suffered a groin injury in St. Louis' victory over Washington Sunday.

"We're going to tread lightly on this one," Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo said on a conference call with Seattle reporters. "It is truly day-to-day. The news was good when the MRI came back and it wasn't a tear, but he's sore. You're talking about a running back with a lower-extremity injury, and so you're going to be careful with it. I trust Steven. He knows his body better than anyone else. I know what type of person he is. He is a warrior. He'll want to play, and we'll be smart as we go. We really won't know until we get to the end of the week."

'It's only a strain' for Rams' RB Steven Jackson

Here's a fact that I found very surprising. In six NFL seasons, Jackson has played 11 games against Seattle. He has yet to rush for more than 100 yards in any one of those games against Seattle.
