Russell Okung's ankle injury not as serious as earlier sprain
Posted by Danny O'Neil
Russell Okung suffered an injury to his left ankle in his third NFL start. He missed the first three regular-season games because of an injury to his right ankle, which he suffered in August.
Coach Pete Carroll said this injury to Okung's left ankle isn't as severe as the injury he suffered to his right ankle in August. However, Carroll, said it's the same type of injury. Okung was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain in August.
If that's the case, don't expect to Okung coming back for at least a few weeks.
"We're going to miss him for a bit," Carroll said. "I don't know how long it's going to take. It isn't of the same severity as the other one, but it's kind of the same sprain."
