TE Cameron Morrah activated to Seahawks 53-man roster

The Seahawks made changes to the 53-man roster on Saturday, activating tight end Cameron Morrah from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list and signing safety Chris Maragos from the practice squad.
The Seahawks cut defensive tackle Jason Shirley and linebacker Stephen Franklin to make room for those two.
The addition of Morrah is not surprising. With starting tight end Zach Miller out, Anthony McCoy was the only tight end available for Sunday's game at Cleveland. Morrah is in his third season with the Seahawks. He had been out this year, recovering from surgery to repair a toe injury that knocked him out of Seattle's playoff game at Chicago.
A seventh-round pick in 2009, Morrah appeared in 15 games last season and caught nine passes.
Maragos was signed to the team's practice squad in September, and he was likely promoted for special-teams depth.
Shirley and Franklin were both signed since Seattle's last game.
