Seahawks QB Tarvaris Jackson active, WR Mike Williams out

Posted by Danny O'Neil

Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson is active and expected to start for the Seahawks against Cincinnati after missing last week's game with a strained pectoral muscle suffered on Oct. 9.

Charlie Whitehurst started in Jackson's place last week, and while he took most of the first-team repetitions in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, Jackson threw in practice on Friday and appeared to be preparing to start.

Jackson is one of four offensive starters who missed last week's game because of injury. Tight end Zach Miller (concussion), center Max Unger (foot) and running back Marshawn Lynch (back) all missed last week's game, but are active and expected to start Sunday against Cincinnati.

The Seahawks will be missing wide receiver Mike Williams, however, who was a surprise scratch. Williams practiced without limitation all week, but appeared to be talking to the trainer during pre-game warmups. He was announced as inactive. Ben Obomanu will start in Williams' place.
