Flag football: Rising tide of Seahawks' penalties

The Seahawks have traditionally been one of hte league's least-penalized teams. They were called for the fewest fouls in the league in 2007 and in 2004 and tied for second-fewest in 2005.

That has changed this season. Seattle was the 11th-most penalized team in the league in 2010, Pete Carroll's first-year as coach when the Seahawks were penalized 101 times. This season, Seattle is rising in a category that no one wants to lead the league in. Well, no one but the Raiders that is.

Between the commercial timeouts, the reviews, and the constant penalties, the games are becoming un-watchable.I wish the refs would go into a game...  Posted on November 4, 2011 at 9:41 AM by bigWhid. Jump to comment
