Seahawks cut Al Woods, promote Pep Levingston

Posted by Danny O'Neil

The Seahawks announced a pair of moves on their 53-man roster Tuesday.

Receiver Deon Butler was activated from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, and rookie Kris Durham was placed on injured reserve, opening room for Butler.

Durham was the fourth-round choice of the Seahawks. He played in three of Seattle's eight games and caught three passes.

Seattle also released defensive tackle Al Woods, who was claimed on waivers before the season began. The Seahawks signed Pep Levingston to the 53-man roster. Levingston, a seventh-round pick, had been on Seattle's practice squad.
