Seahawks' Ben Obomanu, Marshawn Lynch battling injuries

Posted by Danny O'Neil

RENTON -- Wide receiver Ben Obomanu suffered a sprained knee during Saturday's game against San Francisco, and running back Marshawn Lynch had a sore ankle, according to coach Pete Carroll.

The status for both won't be known until later this week, though. Seattle's coach held a press conference Monday, and indicated that the availability of Lynch and Obomanu won't be known until later this week.

It appeared Obomanu suffered the injury in the fourth quarter after he was tackled following a 14-yard reception. Lynch came back to the sideline limping after his 4-yard touchdown run later in the fourth quarter.
