So much for Mario: Williams signs with Buffalo

Bills, Mario a full-go
By Jason La Canfora,

Mario Williams arrived in Buffalo on the first day of free agency, and he never left. The defensive end has signed a contract with the Bills that is a whopper. It's not just the total, mind you, which is huge: $96 million over six years. It's the fact that the deal essentially guarantees him $50 million.

When free agency began, many expected the Seahawks would make Williams a priority. It never happened as Seattle has focused on retaining its own free agents rather than pursuing players from other teams.
