Offensive lineman Jarriel King was released by the Seattle Seahawks on Monday after a TV station in South Carolina reported King was arrested for sexual assault in North Charleston, S.C.
King was claimed by the Seattle Seahawks from the New York Giants one week before the 2011 regular season began. He spent the year on the team's roster, and appeared in one game.
According to the WCSC report of the arrest warrant, King is accused -- along with another man -- of sexually assaulting a woman who was intoxicated.
