Seahawks hold six picks in 2012 draft

There was no drum roll, but the NFL did announce the complete seven-round draft order, specifying which team will pick where. The Seahawks hold six picks in those seven rounds.

They hold their own choice in all but the fifth and the seventh round. Their fifth-round choice went to Buffalo to complete the Marshawn Lynch trade while their seventh-round choice went to Detroit in exchange for Tyler Polumbus, who was acquired in a 2010 trade. Seattle received Oakland's seventh-round pick in the deal for linebacker Aaron Curry.

Here's a rundown of Seattle's picks by round and overall number:

First round: No. 12 overall.
Second round: 11th choice of the round, No. 43 overall.
Third round: No. 12 of the round, No. 75 overall.
Fourth round: No. 11 of the round, No. 106 overall.
Fifth round: Traded to Buffalo, No. 147 overall.
Sixth round:: No. 11 of the round, No. 181 overall.
Seventh round: (From Oakland), No. 18 of the round, No. 225 overall.
