Beast Mode in Oscar mode?

Marshawn Lynch's silver-screen debut is going to be golden.

That's a commentary on the massive amounts of prop jewelry the Seahawks running back is donning for his role in the movie "Matt's Chance," which is being filmed in Seattle.

Lee Majors is in it. So is Edward Furlong, aka the young John Conner from "T2" who is not so young anymore.

And then there's Lynch, whose role is detailed as "Massive Goon." He's a security guard for the bad guy, and while he does have a line, the script also calls for him to get aced during a bank robbery before he even gets in the building.

Seattle Times photographer Alan Berner was on set for some photos, and the gallery is well worth checking out.

Chris Egan -- of KING 5 -- was also on set, and the station's video has some vintage Lynch as he talks about his acting debut.
