Waiting for the light rail beats waiting for the Interurban

The statues waiting for the Interurban at 34th St. and Fremont Ave. looked like they just came out of a party this morning. I read that the 1979 sculpture is usually subject of this type of "art attacks." The most interesting thing about it has to be the dog with a man's face. It reportedly belongs to Armen Stepanian, a one-time honorary mayor of Fremont.

Countdown to light rail is at 37 days!
