The Seahawks announced their second draft-pick signing of the summer yesterday, with defensive tackle Craig Terrill signing a multi-year contract.

Terrill, the Seahawks' sixth-round draft choice from Purdue, joins seventh-round punter Donnie Jones as the first two draft picks to sign.

Terrill was one of four defensive players drafted by Seattle in April.

• Beginning July 5, about 15,000 tickets will be available in the Portland-Vancouver area for the Seahawks' intrasquad scrimmage at Portland's PGE Park on Aug. 7. Tickets will be available at G.I. Joe's stores and at Curt Warner Chevrolet in Vancouver.

Seahawks kicker Josh Brown, in Portland promoting the scrimmage, threw out the first pitch at the Class AAA Portland Beavers' game last night.
