Comcast will broadcast at least 55 high-school football and volleyball games this fall, and at least 60 high-school basketball games this winter, on its ON DEMAND feature for digital cable television subscribers.

Five football games and one volleyball match will be available free each week of the fall sports season, within 48 hours of the conclusion of the game. The schedule covers teams across the state.

Comcast also plans to air football and volleyball playoff games, including every match of the 3A and 4A state volleyball postseason tournaments. The basketball schedule has not been finalized.

A complete schedule of games can be found at www.comcast.com/varsitysports.

Note

• King's won the school's first girls soccer game, 1-0 over Bellevue Christian Tuesday night, on Kari Scott's goal in the 30th minute. The Knights, a state powerhouse in basketball and track and field, started a girls soccer program this season.
