Seahawks training camp at a glance: Day 13
Meet a Seahawk
Position: Tight end
Height, weight: 6-5, 255College: Arizona State
• What’s one thing you want to do in life that you haven’t already done? “I’ve always wanted to travel to Australia. I’ve been to Europe and everywhere in North America, so I’d want to go somewhere far.”
• What do you splurge on the most? “I pretty much buy everything, anything luxury — vehicles, anything like that. It’s worth it to me. I used to not spend much money when I was a younger player but now that I’m older, I just bought an S550 (Mercedes-Benz).”
• What’s the biggest thing you want to accomplish that’s not football-related? “Just be a good father. I have twin girls. They’re 18 months in a couple days.”
The Seahawks wrapped up training camp with their final (closed) practice followed by a family barbecue.
The big story
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said during an appearance on KJR-AM that tailback Marshawn Lynch may play Friday in the team’s second preseason game against the San Diego Chargers. Lynch did not play last week and was one of 15 players not to make the trip to Denver.
DL Cassius Marsh left practice early after colliding with teammates during a play. He will have an MRI on his knee. WR Percy Harvin fully participated in practice. He left Tuesday’s practice early after getting stepped on.
The Seahawks will have a light walk-through on Thursday in preparation for their home game against the Chargers on Friday.
