$6k raised to fly 2 Afghan war-zone dogs to the U.S.

As a company of U.S. Army soldiers prepares to return home from Afghanistan, their spouses have raised nearly $6,000 to fly home two stray dogs the troops befriended at a remote firebase in the war zone.
With the help of a Facebook posting, word spread and donations began pouring in to pay to transport the dogs -- named OPI and Smiley -- back to Fort Campbell in Kentucky when the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division returns home later this summer.
