Friday TV Picks: Animal Planet's new 'North Woods Law'
TV Picks for Friday, March 23, 2012, include the new Maine-set reality show "North Woods Law" on Animal Planet; "Shark Tank" on ABC; and "Who Do You Think You Are?" on NBC.
Tonight in Prime Time
'North Woods Law'
A sort of "Cops" set in the Pine Tree State, this reality show follows members of Maine's game-warden service during hunting season. The premiere episode featured late-night poacher tracking, a bear loose in suburban Portland and the search (with the service's K-9 unit) for hunters lost in the woods. It's not a bad way to spend a Friday night. 9 p.m. Friday on Animal Planet (seattletimes.com/tvlistings).
