It’s a new year, so that must mean a new season for this great Kentucky-set drama, based on Elmore Leonard’s story “Fire in the Hole.” In season five, Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) gets involved with the mysterious- (and dangerous-) sounding Crowe family. “The Way We Were” (1973), 7 p.m. (TCM): A leftist and a writer meet in college, and their love spans the 1930s and ’50s.

“The Biggest Loser,” 8 p.m. (NBC): Eliminated contestants receive a chance to return to the competition; a kettlebell beach challenge; the remaining contestants receive exciting news.

“Pretty Little Liars,” 8 p.m. (ABC Family): Anna suggests that the girls find out who is really buried in Alison’s grave; Caleb returns to Rosewood; Ezra secretly meets with Mona and Aria.

“Intelligence,” 9 p.m. (CBS): Gabriel and Riley must rescue a kidnapped member of CyberCom — the man who invented the chip implanted in Gabriel’s brain — before secret technology falls into the wrong hands.

“The Haves and the Have Nots,” 9 p.m. (OWN): Hanna waits at the hospital for news on Benny’s condition; Candace tries to persuade Amanda to stand up for herself.

“Cougar Town,” 10 p.m. (TBS): The Cul de Sac Crew feels weird about Laurie and Travis dating; Bobby and Andy make it big when Penny Can goes global; Grayson confronts Bobby about years of unpaid bar tabs; Andy struggles to get to sleep after a scary movie.
