Police chase ends with crash of stolen car in South Everett

The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office is investigating a crash involving a stolen vehicle and another vehicle that occurred about 5 a.m. Tuesday near Southeast Everett Mall Way and Highway 526 in South Everett.

A sheriff's deputy had spotted the stolen vehicle in the area and tried to stop it. The driver took off, prompting a pursuit. Less than a mile away the stolen vehicle struck another car. The suspect was arrested.

There were no injuries.

The Sheriff's Office says traffic in the area will be disrupted during the investigation.
