Authorities looking for man who robbed Edmonds bank

Authorities are looking for a man in his late 30s or early 40s who robbed a Bank of America branch in downtown Edmonds Wednesday afternoon, according to a news release from the Edmonds Police Department.

Bank employees reported at 4:39 p.m. that the man had entered the bank at 306 Main Street and passed a note to the teller demanding money.

He reportedly left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and got into a maroon Toyota Corolla from the 1980s or 1990s The car was driven by another person, the news release said.

The suspect is described as about 5-foot-6, 120 pounds, wearing bluejeans, a loose-fitting flannel shirt with dark hair and facial stubble. He has three tear drops tattooed under his right eye and was wearing a hat with red curly pig tails sticking out of it and sunglasses, the news release said.

The Edmonds Police Department is investigating this robbery along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, according to the news release.
