We could see a record low temperature Wednesday

The overnight low temperature in Seattle could set a record in the early morning hours Wednesday.

The Weather Service is forecasting an overnight low of 14 degrees, two degrees below the record for the day of 16, set on Nov. 24, 1985.

The lowest officially recorded temperature on any date in Seattle was 0 degrees, hit on January 30, 1950.
