The Pink Door
This Bohemian circus in the guise of an Italian restaurant opened its unmarked pink door in 1981. The food is better than ever. Servers are thoughtful and smart. The theatrical décor evokes an artist's atelier or a courtesan's boudoir, depending on your imagination. Nightly entertainment includes tarot-card reading, aerialists, bands and burlesque, but outside, on the midsummer-night's-dream of a deck, is where everyone wants to sit in fair weather.
