Restaurant | Malaysian
The owners' travels, documented in framed black-and-white photos nearly covering the restaurant's vivid teal green walls, largely inform the menu of noodles, rice dishes and snacks. Expect flavor-packed dishes, prepared with finesse, accented with pungent sambals. Favorites include cucumber and pineapple salad, pickled mustard greens, chili pan mee, seafood curry and nasi goreng (fried rice) with tofu. Prices are modest and portions so generous almost everyone leaves with brown bags of leftovers. It's no wonder there's a line at peak times. Full bar. Takeout available. No reservations. Dinner only.
