Restaurant | Thai
Inside the cozy craftsman bungalow, handsome brass and carved wood Thai furnishings stand out against the papaya yellow walls. The food is the sort you might have been raised on if you grew up in Thailand: cool, crisp salads, grilled satays, pungent sauces and brothy stews, the best of them a deft balance of salt, sour, sweet, and chile heat. The intimate Fu Kun Wu bar's aphrodisiacal cocktails have a limit of one per customer. Bar snacks sometimes include grasshoppers.
