Restaurant | Mexican
The menu at this no-frills tequila bar shifted to tacos, quesos and Mexican street snacks with the arrival of chef Alvaro Candela, a Mexico City-native. Braised beef belly, pan-seared trout, spit-roasted pork and grilled cactus are among the taco fillings. There's not a bad option in the bunch. Sip tequilas (there are dozens), agua fresca, or have one of the best margaritas around, composed, like the food, with deliberate care, exquisite balance, and fresh, high quality ingredients.

With the arrival of Mexico City-born chef Álvaro Candela, The Saint’s menu moved away from rice and beans and became a taqueria focused on Mexican street snacks.
