Shekinna Stricklen

College: Tennessee.

Drafted: No. 2 overall.

Hometown: Morrilton, Ark.

The word: Versatile player who played four positions in college. Needs work on her defensive skills, but is a solid offensive player with a consistent three-point shot. Her Vols class was the first to win three straight SEC championships. Stricklen averaged 13.5 points and 6.5 rebounds during her college career.

Keisha Hampton

Position: Forward.

Height: 6-2.

Age: 22, born Feb. 22, 1990, in Philadelphia.

College: DePaul.

Drafted: No. 22 overall.

Hometown: Philadelphia.

The word: Suffered a season-ending right knee injury in January and will not join Storm training camp until the 2013 WNBA season. Preseason All-American candidate averaged 16.6 points in 12 games before the injury.

Three points: Father John Hampton played for John Chaney at Cheyney State, helping win the 1978 NCAA Division II national championship. ... Majoring in communications/media. ... Wants to be a sportscaster after hoops, but said she gets sweaty when speaking before a class.
