Everett earns 4-3 victory over Vancouver | Minor leagues

VANCOUVER, B.C. — Michael Faulkner hit an RBI single in the ninth inning, and Everett earned a 4-3 victory over the Vancouver Canadians in a Northwest League game Monday night.

Vancouver led 3-1 in the fifth when Ketel Marte had an RBI ground out. The AquaSox tied the score in the seventh when Marte scored after a balk by losing pitcher Ian Kadish (1-1).

In the ninth, pinch-runner Janelfry Zorrilla advanced to second on a wild pitch and to third on Marte's ground out. Drew Permison replaced Kadish and promptly gave up Faulkner's go-ahead single.

Brandon Plotz earned his second save despite walking the first two batters.
