Larry Meadows and Joel Hoffman have a message to whoever is behind Tuesday's attacks. It's posted on the front lawn of their Mount Baker home.

"You Will Not Destroy Us," the sign reads. And below it: "God Bless America."

"It won't happen, not here," said Meadows, 43. "I'm proud to be an American ... and you can't take that away from me."

Meadows posted the brand-new flag on the porch of his brand-new house, which he and Hoffman moved into a month ago.

"I've decided whether it's sunny weather outside or rainy weather ... the flag stays up."
